Welcome to the Virtual School DEN site. I created this site because more and more teachers are "flipping" classrooms and using virtual content. There are also more and more virtual schools being created every day. By creating a virtual learning environment, teachers allow students the opportunity to view and review the material at their own learning pace. The virtual environment allows parents to take an active part in their children's learning as they can view and coach them. It also gives some students the option of learning in a quiet environment that allows the shy child a chance to respond and excel. Most children enjoy the lack of peer pressure or judgment this environment also affords. Virtual learning prepares the students for the technological world that they will face after their formal education, as well. This site is to help teachers find tools and resources to help them. Discovery Education provides many resources to make this possible.
